ARTIST STATEMENT
I am inspired by the events of our lives, personally, collectively, socially and politically. My work is about making human connections in the hope that we might better understand each other. My style can best be described as social realism and figurative. Through realism, I am able to present the figure an icon we can all relate to. I use the figure to tell a story or to make a point regarding the human condition.
